Lawrence Calder-Kevork-Row
Lawrence gained a BA Honours degree from Goldsmiths
College London in 2002 and successfully completed
the 'Anatomy for artists' course at the University
College London directly after. Before this he
studied for his Foundation at Camberwell College
of Arts, London in 1996.
In 1978 he was born in South-East London and since
1998 has been living and working from his home
studio based in the creative hub of East London.
Born to an Armenian mother and English father,
his feet have been firmly embedded in British
Culture and was inspired from an early age to
lead the creative lifestyle that artists are drawn
to. He has extensively visited galleries and been
exposed to art not only in Britain but also many
other countries around the world. This is reflected
in his refusal to commit to any one creative genre
but instead to encompass a renaissance-style,
mixed media approach when visualising a new body
of work. This might be Sculpture, Painting, Photography
or the Film medium.
He also has a vast amount of experience working
with both children and adults linking this in
with the whole creative process.
